Andrew Dillon

Působil v redakčních radách v mnoha významných časopisech, jako například International Journal of Human- Computer Studies, Interacting with Computers, the Journal of Documentation and the Journal of the American Society for Information Science and Technology. Přispěl i do několika encyklopedií, jako Macmillan Encyclopedia of Cognitive Science, the International Encyclopedia of Ergonomics & Human Factors a the Encyclopedia of Library and Information Science.[3]

31. října byl zvolen prezidentem asociace ASIS&T (Association for Information Science and Technology) pro rok 2013.

Použitelnost má tři formy hodnocení: model-based evaluation (hodnocení založená na modelu), expert-based inspections (inspekce expertů, dále rozdělené na heuristické hodnocení a tzv. cognitive walk-through) a user-based tests (testy založené na uživateli).
